The Potters Guild of Annapolis sponsored a workshop with potter and print artist Mitch Lyons on September 12-13, 2009, hosted at the beautiful Butterfly Fields Goose at the Door Pottery, a lovely B&B owned and operated by PGA members Dan and Lynda Elles.  Mitch demonstrated his “broomstick” handbuilding techniques, his colored clay impression techniques, and his clay monoprinting.  On Day 2, we participated in a “hands on” day using Mitch’s clay monoprinting techniques.  The entire workshop was very exciting and thought provoking.  I have lots of ideas to try out!  Where to find the time???
